Silk is an r&b super group that formed in the Atlanta, Georgia area in 1989. The group consists of Gary Glenn, Tim Cameron, Johnathen Rasboro, Jimmy Gates and Gary Jenkins. They were finally discovered by fellow r&b singer Keith Sweat and released their debut album Lose Control in 1992. It quickly rose to the top of that Billboard Top R&B Albums chart, selling almost 2 million copies and landing at #1. The group has continued on to sell over 5 million album world wide. Earlier this year, they released their 7th studio album, Quiet Storm. Due to hit records like Freak In Me and Meeting In My Bedroom, Silk will always be one of America’s favorite r&b groups.
