Singer and songwriter, Sia was born Sia Kate Isobelle Furler on December 18th, 1975 in Adelaide, South Australia. While growing up, she was surrounded by musical and artistic influences thanks to her parents. She started her music career while singing in a local acid jazz group, Crisp. By 1997 she had also released her debut solo album OnlySee through Flavoured Records. Following the disbandment of Crisp, the singer moved to London. By 2000 she signed a deal with Dance Pool, under Sony Music. That same year she released Taken For Granted which peaked at #10 on UK Singles chart. Since then she’s become an international success known for her unique artist performances and music videos.
