Dej Loaf is a talented female emcee born on April 8th, 1991 and raised in the east side of Detroit. She took an early interest in hip hop music while listening to music her parents played. At the age of 9, Dej would pick up a pen and pad and start writing her own music. She graduated high school in 2009 and continued on to college where she studied nursing for three semesters and played basketball at the junior varsity level. In 2011 Dej Loaf began to focus on her music career and pursue it full time. Since then she’s released 3 mixtapes, her debut album and she’s been on tour with Nicki Minaj.
