Music artist Verse Simmonds was born Maurice Simmonds on January 1st, 1980 in Puerto Rico. While he was still a kid, his family moved to the Virgin Islands. He always had a love for music so he formed a group with friends in high school, performing at local talent shows and venues. After graduating high school, he moved to Fort Lauderdale so he could pursue music. Eventually in 2006 he wound up in Atlanta performing at local clubs and venues. In 2009, one of those performances landed him a deal with Interscope Records. Since then he’s become a high successful music artist with numerous hit records.
