The r&b group consists of three members: Cheryl “Coko” Gamble, Tamara “Taj” Johnson and Leanne “Lelee” Lyons. The ladies formed their group in early 1990 as a gospel group and recorded a demo tape. After sending out their demo to various record labels, they were finally invited for an audition in front of RCA music execs. This led to a deal with the label  in 1991 and also the release of their debut album, It’s About Time in 1992. Since then, they have become one of the most successful female r&b groups of all times. Their records still continue to receive endless play on the radio stations while they still tour the world performing for sold out shows.
