R&B singer and songwriter Marsha Ambrosius was born in Liverpool, England on August 8th, 1977. While attending  BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology she met Natalie Stewart. The two would later come together to form the musical duo Floetry. By 2000 the duo traveled to the U.S. so they could further pursue their music career. They toured the poetry circuits and eventually moved to Philadelphia. In 2002 they signed a deal with DreamWorks Records and released their debut album Floetic that same year. By 2009 Marsha was embarking on a solo career where she signed to J Records and in 2011 she finally released her debut solo album Late Nights & Early Mornings. Since then she has continued on to become one of the most successful soul r&b music artists of this generation.
