They grew up in Monroe, North Carolina where they were raised by a musical family. They started out singing in church choirs and touring with their fathers gospel group. The brothers first gained notoriety in 1990 as the lead vocals for the group Jodeci when they signed to Motown. They released 3 platinum selling albums before breaking off to pursue their own musical career as a duo in 1996. During the span of their music career, the brothers have enjoyed the success of many chart topping singles and albums. They still perform for sold out shows and their songs have become timeless records that still receive radio play today.
